Fiona De Vos is a classical singer (soprano). She recorded the album Mahal na Likha (Beloved Creation): Songs from the Philippines—a selection of the most beautiful Philippine art songs and kundiman.
Her performances include a solo recital at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the role of Adele in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (Belgium), the soprano solo in Händel’s Messiah, and concerts and cultural outreach programs in Taiwan, Japan, Italy, Belgium, the Philippines, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
She studied voice at the Philippine High School for the Arts, where she graduated as valedictorian. She also studied classical singing at the Belgian conservatory Lemmensinstituut, where she received greatest distinction. She is honored to have taken voice lessons and masterclasses with renowned opera singers and pianists.
Fiona De Vos is also an author. She received scholarships and studied Information Media at the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan (Dean’s Prize recipient), Broadcast Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman, and as a Youth for Understanding exchange student at the Ritsumeikan High School Kyoto. She was also admitted to the Philippine Science High School.
Fiona had a brief stint as a pop singer and songwriter. Her EP Into Our Hearts is a collection of songs about mystical, divine and unconditional Love.
